#12 AUSSIE (DAY 4 & 5)

SYDNEY (DAY 4)

Trip to Bondi Beach!

A very common scene in Sydney.

After approximately 30-40 mins on the bus, this was the view that awaited us!

Trust me when I say I'm no beach girl but strangely, I was so excited when I saw Bondi beach!

Had our lunch at a nearby place: Lamrock Cafe

His trademark 'wo hen ke lian' face -.-

VERY GOOD Fish and Chips.

Eggs Benedict.

Our coffee fix after lunch, of course.

Graffiti at its best.

So we headed down to the beach finally!

I wish I had one of those apartments...

Everyone kept telling me to look out for the Bondi Beach lifeguards because they were well known to be super hot, but damn, didn't spot any of them.

Well, all's not lost!
At least I got to see a flock of seagulls...lazing on the beach?

I'm not the only one amused with this sight.

Strolling along the soft sandy beach.

I was probably the only one who wore a jacket to the beach that day. Loser much.

I was so cold lah! How do the Aussies lie there in their bikinis like it was 35 degrees?!?!??!!

Found our spot on the grass and lazed there for a bit.

Forced him to take gazillion photos with me. HAHAHAH.
#poorboycannotrest

Lying on the grass patch, taking in the beautiful, comforting view of the beach accompanied with sounds of waves crashing onto the shores. Isn't something you get to do back in Singapore.

And Happy Birthday to my Dearest Boy!
I wish great and better things for you in the coming years because you definitely deserve it, but even so, no matter what I'll be here on this journey with you!

Left Bondi and while heading back, we chanced upon the Night Market.

And guess which company organised that event?

Queen Victoria Building for some shopping!

Japanese food at Makoto for dinner!

Pretty decent Japanese food I must say.

DAY 5 (SYDNEY)

Day 5 can be easily summarised into 3 pictures because after showering and dressing up, I decided that I was too sick to leave the apartment and so, it was STAY-IN day :(

So upset with myself!

Somebody loves you if they can order you food without having to be told what you want. I can't agree more with that phrase.

X

On hindsight, I wished we stayed there for a few more days.
Didn't seem like we have seen enough of Sydney though. Plus I'm still upset with myself for falling sick, if not I could have enjoyed myself more.

Nonetheless, it was a really fun and enjoyable trip as I've experienced and seen so much for the first time. I can't wait to explore more of Australia in future!

Last but not least, really thankful for my super loving and accommodating partner who never failed to make me laugh and warm my heart even when I was really sick and felt really bad, and taking care of me in any possible way he can.

I'm sorry you had to spend your last day in Aussie reading the news/book for the whole day on the bed beside me, and only occasionally leaving just to take water for me or buy food back.

I can't say it enough but you are THE BEST.
LIKE.SERIOUSLY.THE.BEST.EVER.
*dead pan serious*

Here's to many more journeys together!

X

We travel, initally, to lose ourselves, and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again - to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.
