#11 AUSSIE (DAY 3)

SYDNEY (DAY 3)

Due to my body's inability to adapt to the cold weather, I was beginning to feel unwell.
I'll really need to start bracing my body to adapt to cold weather, I always fall sick on holidays, argh!

Anyway, continuation of our third day in Sydney.....which also happened to be my birthday! So, as I was the queen that day, Robbie planned the meals to be all of my favourite cuisines :)

Sydney Fish Market!

Fresh seafood galore.

Finally decided on the seafood platter.

And how can we forget sashimi!

ALL MY FAVOURITE *inserts starry eyed emoticon*

His meal. He prefers the fried and oily stuff :/

Settled for coffee (yet again) at a nearby cafe.

Someone please import this to Singapore?
This was SO good! We couldn't resist buying this over and over again once we finished one despite being priced exorbitantly at AUD 4 plus.

Next stop: CASINO at The Star

My first trip to the casino so it was quite an eye opener I must say.
Too bad I was unable to capture any photos.

My takeaway is: I can see how easy it is for people to get caught up in the addiction of gambling, one must really be disciplined enough to know when to walk away. We whiled away a few hours without even realising it!

In the end, we even-ed out so no wins/no loss.

A great experience nonetheless.

Strolled along Darling Harbour. Not sure if it's just me, but everything seems to move at a slower pace there.

If only Singapore was like that as well.

Saw this in the female washroom, they call it the 'Vanity Bar'.

He finally found the photo booth he had been searching for since we arrived in Sydney.

So much fun!

My favourite out of the lot.

Dinner at Hurricane's Grill.

After much research for good steak places in Sydney, he found this place to be pretty well known for their steaks and ribs. It was evident from the long queue shortly after we arrived. Thankfully we came early!

Still, it was pretty amusing yet heart warming watching the boy do an extensive research at night on the laptop, scrutinizing the reviews of many restaurants in Sydney.

As always, 101% effort!

Food was pretty awesome as expected.

Having our dinner alongside the harbour, with a beautiful view.

Strolled along Cockle Bay Wharf to digest our dinner before heading home.

For my 24th birthday this year, there was no fancy celebration, cake or flowers.
Just spending quality time with my loved one, someone who cherishes and enjoys my company as much as I enjoy his, engaging in good conversations accompanied with good food.

Happiness can be so simple.

We agreed on no presents this year (His birthday is the following day, by the way. Hahaha). We did, however, agree on a hand written birthday card.

And as I've expected from him, it was beautiful writing. How precious.
To many more hand written cards/notes in future!

Thank you for such a beautiful day, I couldn't ask for more.
