SYDNEY (DAY 2)
Woke up early for a day trip that we booked online.
We were picked up punctually in a Mercedes Van, a group of 8 in total and the guide, Rob was really entertaining throughout the entire journey. He wasn't the conventional kind of guide and had a wicked sense of humor, so maybe that's why we enjoyed his company so much.
It was around AUD 175 per pax for the day trip, pretty steep but I thought it was worth it. Highly recommended!

Breakfast in our apartment.
First stop: Featherdale Wildlife Park!
Freaked me out for a while when I saw the animals just roaming around freely.
ALAS!
THE ANIMAL THAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR:
KOALA BEAR!
They're such chill animals like us.
No wonder we took a liking to them immediately.
Aww, the koala looked so shy when Robbie first touched him/her.
Baby kangaroos feeding time!
Crocodile suntanning
First time I see a peacock up close.
Really beautiful and elegant.
Icky reptiles.
Then we went back to our favourite again!
Robbie attempting to communicate with it.
Introducing the koala family. Hahaha.
The weather looked really sunny but I was SO COLD LAH ^%@$%#@&
Robbie and his new fowl friend.
Moving on for lunch!
One of our worst meal in Sydney.
Then again, never expect much from tour related meals.
Enjoying our tea at the alfresco area.
Continuation of our tour!
See the characteristic blue haze surrounding the region if you look afar?
That's Blue Mountains for you.
The reason why it has a blue tinge surrounding it is due to some particles that the abundance of eucalyptus trees in the mountains emit.
They had the Skyway, Railway and Cableway for the tourists.
Needless to say, we took them all.
There you go, one of the iconic view in Blue Mountains: Three Sisters.
The Orphan
Then we took a railway down, which was apparently 'The World's Steepest Railway'
No joke man, that claim seemed to be quite true.
It was indeed quite steep.
With the three sisters!
We coffee junkies enjoying a cuppa at the top of the mountains before leaving.
Last stop of the day
I nearly passed out watching Robbie have this photo taken.
But I got to admit, it is a great shot though.
Our last picture with Blue Moutains.
You've been a great sight!
Then we took the ferry back.
And passed by the great iconic building of Australia:
SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE!
There's something about it that makes me stare in awe.
Maybe it's the rustic charm that comes along with its 40 years heritage.
A masterpiece indeed.
Adjacent to it is yet another beautiful sight: Sydney Harbour Bridge!
Walked around the area at Circular Quay
Their parks are beyond beautiful isn't it?!
With his acute sense of direction, Robbie brought me back to the restaurant based on his memory, that had one of the best pancakes in the world, which he tried years ago when he was in Sydney.
And he found it!
Pancakes On The Rocks.
Pancakes were indeed on a different league compared to the many others I've tried.
After dinner, we had a night stroll along the area.
Took the Cityrail back.
With that, concludes our eventful Day 2!
